Stayed here for 7 nights and appreciated our choice. We had a clean room, also there were a balcony and a kitchenette area. Location: the hotel was close enough to beautiful church, Montacute and the centre of Montacute. Everything was great and exceeded all expectations.

I had a fantastic stay at Carents House in Montacute. I was visiting my sister in hospital and needed to stay over. The location was fantastic with stunning views of the village from the hill behind the church. The veranda was lovely and we enjoyed an evening meal outside. The extra space with a bedroom, sitting room, and balcony was a great bonus. The fridge and microwave helped keep costs down. Breakfast was delicious, with the personal touch of it being brought to our dining room. The friendliness of the owners and the central location near the pubs and beautiful church made it even better. Highly recommended!
